The Turbine Building Team return to the Gyreum: Hugh Piggot of Scoraig Wind. Jim & Miriam from Eirbyte. A five day course on building a 4.2 metre blade turbine from scratch. Every action from blade shaping, to coil turning, every detail done in detail – so after five days the student has a thorough knowledge of the entire process: the electrics, the metal work and the carpentry of it. On the last day the turbine will be lifted on to a mast on site. Students from past courses have often teamed up and gone built their own turbines for a tiny fraction of shop price.
Prices and precise date to follow. It is likely to be the 3-8 June 2013. For details and pricing on the course, on accommodation call the Gyreum office 071 9165994 or email email@example.com
For details on the last course go to www.scoraigwind.com/gyreum.
The division of learning is between carpentry, metal work and electrics.

For Example if you are a football club. Send some interested members along. They pay tuition and the parts and come away with a Turbine. The course is a maximum of 16 people.
